Plans…eh who needs ‘em?
Well we made it to Managua and joined up with the rest of the team. The evil one loves to throw ‘curve balls’ and did just that to our team.
Upon clearing immigration and claiming our luggage we had one final stop before leaving the airport – clearing customs. Easy right? Well they did NOT allow our bags full of eye glasses to enter the country. (pic #2)
Long story short – our team lead worked with the officials at the airport and our stuff was ‘red tagged’ soooo we just rearranged our schedule and they’ll work on getting our bags out of ‘lockup’ tomorrow.
We have just arrived at our hotel…unpacking and dinner are on our agenda now.
